Travelers experience a variety of taste of nature trails each day during the Annapurna Base Camp Trek from the lush vegetation of rain and temperate forests to the alpine environment of the Sanctuary. ABC Trek is a pretty easy and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Nepal.

During the Annapurna Base Camp trek, you pass through the Gurung villages of Ghandruk, Chomrong, and Landrung, offering rhododendron and bamboo forests to Hinko Cave. Beyond Hinko, see excellent views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare. Also, ABC passes through MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp). What a blissful moment. Visit two base camps in one trip!

How to prepare for Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp requires good stamina and strength. You will be walking 4 to 5 hours a day straight, so make sure you don't run out of breath quickly. To increase your strength, you might want to start walking steep roads and working out before booking the trip. Swimming, jump roping, yoga, cardio workouts, and other exercise forms will help you prepare for the journey.
